C&C Renegade rebuilt in Minecraft (1:1 Scale)

Here's a tribute to our friends at Renegade X. We crafted a complete remake of Renegade's C&C_Islands.mix map (1:1 scale) . It's a fully functional PvP, Team versus Team map.

Our goal is a full preparation for a working C&C Mode in Minecraft with vehicles, weapons and Purchase terminals and an MCT. The current version has buildings with working doors using redstone command blocks, even the Warfactory's vehicle gate opens and closes. The world is set in a regular Minecraft survival map, so you're not restricted to just these islands. You can roam,craft and explore the world and perhaps use these islands as your main base.

Allied Pill Box (Red Alert 2)

Pill Boxes are cheap and are the ideal front-line defences against enemy infantry. Its design comes from the old pillboxes of the past. Allies decided that they would return its design to the basic, armored shelter with machine gun emplacement.

Soviet Flak Cannon (Red Alert 2)

The Flak Cannon is a type of Soviet anti-aircraft emplacement. This weapon fires explosive shells whose blast or fragments is a hazard to aircraft in close formation. The flak cannon is so successful that the weaponry is used by infantry and deployed on wheels.

Soviet Industrial Plant (Red Alert 2)

After Third World War, a cheap, effective defence was desired by the Soviets. The answer came with the battle bunker. This simple bunker could only be garrisoned by Conscripts and could hold five of these.

It is a robotic gun turret that uses a rudimentary AI to fire on enemy soldiers and leaves friendly ones unharmed. It is built as a Russian equivelent to the Allied pill box from Red Alert 2.

Soviet Tesla Coil (Red Alert 2)

Soviet Iron Curtain (Red Alert 2)

"Warning Iron Curtain activated!"

The Iron Curtain was a Soviet super weapon that saw use in GWWIII. Technically speaking it was the second version of a weapon of the same name that was used in Second World War, making it the "Iron Curtain MkII." Like it's predecessor, the MkII was able to render non-infantry/non-aerial units and structures invincible for a short period of time.

Soviet Nuclear Missile Silo (Red Alert 2)

"Warning: Nuclear Silo detected!"

The nuclear silo was a large linear enclosed structure similar to a tall hanger that was heavily-armored, and intended to construct, prepare, and launch tactical nuclear missile. If the missile launched, any and all hostiles in the nuclear missile's ground zero blast zone immediately felt the devastating horrors of nuclear weaponry.

Soviet Naval Shipyard (Red Alert 2)

"The sea can be dangerous place" - Sea Scorpion

The Naval shipyard builds Soviet naval units. As with the Allied and Yuri naval facilities, it is capable of conducting repairs to friendly naval units in Red Alert 2. Also, as with the other naval facilities used at the time, it used some power during its operation, which means that, should the power be cut off, production at the shipyard would take longer.

The Battle Lab was an improved Tech Center, allowing commanders to pursue the research and development of advanced units and structures. It could preform computer simulations allowing much better theorizing of possible technological developments involving warfare.

The Radar Tower served the function of providing radar access to the Soviet army. In this sense it is the Soviet version of the Allied Air Force Command, although it does not support aircraft.

Soviet Service Depot (Red Alert 2)

The purpose-built facility repaired friendly ground vehicles at a cost (depending on how damaged the vehicle is) and remove Terror Droness. A service depot was also required to construct an MCV.

Soviet Barracks (Red Alert 2)

(NEW 07/13) Updated a new version of the Soviet Barracks.

The Soviet barracks are a relatively narrow structure, with a large statue of a conscript standing attention atop it. They are designed to inspire pride and awe of the Soviet Union in the infantry recruited from it.

Soviet Ore Refinery (Red Alert 2)

"Building Soviet economy!"

(NEW 07/13) Updated a new version of the Soviet refinery.

The Soviet ore refinery was deployed with a War Miner. After harvesting ore, the War Miner would return to the ore refinery and dump it onto a conveyor that carried it into the building. The Soviet ore refinery is a resource processing building in Red Alert 2.
